Biography of Ms Matoula Head Directress
Ms Matoula is the head directress at Creative Kids Montessori. She is a graduate of Century College where she obtained her Montessori and Early Childhood Education diploma. She also obtained her child psychology certificate from Langara in 2003 and has taken numerous courses in this field.
Matoula owned and operated Creative Kids Childcare since 2000 and became facinated with education for children after the birth of her first child. She was introduced to the philosophy of Montessori when her children first went to Montessori preschool. She became so intrigued with this style of teaching that it led her to study Maria Montessori’s philosophy, curriculum and materials and receive her diploma in 2005.
Matoula enjoys sports, travel, going for walks and mostly spending time with her family. Matoula lives in Vancouver with her husband and 3 children.
